Kleiner Mann ganz groß: Der US-Speicherspezialist Kingston Digital hat heute morgen bei MWC in Barcelona eine microSDHC-Speicherkarte mit 16 Gigabyte Kapazität für Mobiltelefone und andere mobile Gadgets vorgestellt. Bislang waren im microSDH-Format nur 4GB- bzw. 8GB-Karten verfügbar. Die neue 16-Gigabyte-Version soll über 3000 Songs oder mehr als 9000 Bilder aus einer 5-Megapixel-Handy-Kamera speichern können.
Bislang unterstützen nur neuere Handy-Modelle von LG, Motorola, Nokia, RIM (Blackberry) und Sony Ericsson die 16GB-Speicherkarten. Die 16 GB microSDHC wird 90 US-Dollar kosten. Bzgl. Verfügbarkeitsdatum ist bislang leider nichts bekannt.
