Mobil-Computer-Kraftprotz in rot-gestreiftem Alu-Gehäuse: Der taiwanesische Computerbauer MSI greift (zumindest marketingtechnisch) mal wieder zum Superlativ: Mit dem MSI GT640 mit dem neuen Core i7 Chip von Intel will das Unternehmen das „schnellste Gaming-Notebook der Welt“ im Programm haben.
Der MSI GT640 Laptop kommt mit einer 1GB NVIDIA Geforce GTS 250 Grafik-Karte, maximal 4GB DDR3 RAM, einem halben Terabyte Festplattenspeicher sowie Blu-ray-Brenner – und soll entsprechend insbesondere Spieler ansprechen.
Außerdem erwähnenswert: Der 15,4-Zoll-Laptop hat eine 2-Megapixel-Webcam, HDMI-Anschluss, 7.1-Channel-Audio-Output sowie eSATA-Steckverbindung.
Auch der MSI GT640 mit Core i7 kommt mit dem neuen Fenster-OS Windows 7 und wird entsprechend ab dem 22. Oktober 2009 in den Läden stehen.
