Der neue amerikanische Präsident ist inauguriert (gibt es dieses Verb überhaupt?). Und das nun auch virtuell: Pünktlich um 12 Uhr mittags mit der Vereidigung des 44. US-Präsidenten Barack Obama wandelte sich auch die Homepage des Weißen Hauses, WhiteHouse.gov.
Und: Nun hat diese auch ein Blog. Zwar ohne Kommentarfunktion – aber immerhin.
Der erste Eintrag stammt vom neuen White House Mediendirektor, Macon Phillips: “Change has come to Whitehouse.gov.:
„One significant addition to WhiteHouse.gov reflects a campaign promise from the President: we will publish all non-emergency legislation to the website for five days, and allow the public to review and comment before the President signs it.“
