Panasonic HD Camcorder by techfever.Der japanische Unterhaltungselektronik-Konzern Panasonic wird im April in Wiesbaden ein „Lifestyle-Untersuchungsinstitut“ eröffnen um die die Lebensgewohnheiten von Europäern besser untersuchen und besser verstehen zu können.
Der Konzen erhofft sich davon, die Absatzchancen von Panasonic-Produkten zu erhöhen und insbesondere auch die Öko-Bewegung in Europa besser fassen zu können.

Zudem: Ab März bietet der japanische Konzern hierzulande erstmals auch energiesparende Hausgeräte an – ganz nach dem Gusto („the needs and tastes“) europäischer Kunden, wie der Konzern heute morgen in einer Pressemitteilung ankündigt.

***Panasonic to Establish Home Appliance Lifestyle Research Centre in Europe

Amsterdam, Feb 25, 2009 – (JCN Newswire) – Panasonic Europe Ltd. today announced it will set up Panasonic HA (Home Appliance) Lifestyle Research Centre Europe in April 2009 in Wiesbaden, Germany as a division of the company.

The Centre will focus on increasing appeal of Panasonic white goods in the European market by carrying out two key activities: 1) Verifying and proposing product concepts and functions developed according to its research on European lifestyles and 2) Accurately assessing social and ecological trends in Europe to reflect them on its product strategies.

The Centre starts with conducting research and analysis of each European market. Besides lifestyles and living conditions, they will include actual status of usage and installation of white goods, mainly refrigerators and washing machines, as well as changes in consumer trends and living infrastructure. Based on the results, the Centre will make and verify hypotheses and propose concepts and specifications of white goods for each market. By doing so, the Centre will assist in developing Panasonic products in Europe for European consumers. It will also cooperate with major research institutes in Europe to fulfill its goals.

The Panasonic Group has been offering such white goods as air-conditioners, microwave ovens and vacuum cleaners in Europe. Starting in spring 2009, refrigerators and washing machines will be added to its white goods product line-up in the region. Closely working with the Centre, Panasonic will further build up its white goods business by designing and delivering products that satisfy the needs and tastes of European markets.
