[MWC] Sony Ericsson Idou nennt sich nun Satio, kommt im Oktober

Nun ist es also raus, das erstmals im Februar beim Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona von Sony Ericsson vorgestellte Symbian-Smartphone „Idou“ wird  unter dem Namen „Satio“ auf den Mark kommen. Laut Hersteller soll das neue Satio Touchscreen-Smartphone im vierten Quartal 2009  für 699 Euro (ohne Vertrag) in den Farben Schwarz, Silber und Bordeaux in die Geschäfte kommen. 

Als Herzstück des neuen Satio darf zweifellos die integrierte 12-Megapixel-Kamera (mit Autofokus plus Xenon-Blitz und Bildstabilisator) bezeichnet werden. Zudem gibt es verschiedene Software-Funktionen für Foto-Fans, so beispielsweise die Gesichtererkennung oder die „BestPic“-Funktion für Serienaufnahmen sowie eine Panorama-Einstellung für Breitbild-Aufnahmen. Zudem nimmt das neue SE-Spitzenmodells auch Videos auf, und zwar mit 640×480 Pixeln.

Außerdem steht ein Media-Player zur Wiedergabe von Musik und Videos im 16:9-Format (über den 3,5-Zoll-Touchscreen-Display) bereit. Mittels GPS-Empfänger und Integration von „Google Maps“ ist das Satio auch als mobiles Navigations-Gerät benutzbar. Für schnellstmöglichen Datenabruf stehen beim Satio HSPA, WLAN und DLNA zur Verfügung.

Daten werden beim Sony Ericsson Satio auf microSD-Karten gespeichert – anstelle der sonst bei SE-Handys verwendeten (und äußerst unbeliebten) „Memory Stick“-Speicherlingen von Sony.

Noch zwei neue Handys: Aino und Yari

Neben dem Satio wird Sony Ericsson in diesem Jahr mit dem „Aino“ und dem Gaming-Handy „Yari“ noch zwei weitere Smartphones aus der „Entertainment-Unlimited“-Reihe auf den Markt bringen: Das neue Sony Ericsson „Aino“ richtet sich an Foto- und Musik-Liebhaber, während das Sony Yari insbesondere Fans von mobilen Motion- und Gesture-Games auf dem Handy interessieren soll.
